This could be the perfect Easter gift for someone… if giving Easter gifts is the kind of thing you do. Cooking website Starcookers are auctioning off Ostrich eggs which have been painted by celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Xavier Naidoo and Franziska van Almsick, amongst others. All money raised... Apparently Jordan will be painting a pair of ostrich eggs... Are you sure its eggs she is painting???... I heard Wladimir Klitschko was participating. I'd love to get close to his eggs. Edit: don't see his work on the Ebay link, so I guess he wasn't involved after all. Perhaps he... she can paint my eggs when she is done... un oef is un oef !... I think painting is a bit too advanced for Jordan!! She might...

The link gives some details but if you click on by "Austria haunted by Nazi past" there is another story about a Jewish... Makes me wonder why this wasn't done earlier. I do see it as a bit problematic now because it's descendants living in the house now, not the person who originally stole the house... Living in Austria a few years ago, I was informed by apparently well-educated Austrians in their 20s that Austria was the first country to be invaded by Germany and the first victim... Funny place, Ostrichreich…... Amon Göth was an Austrian.......

We came home on Wednesday and the entire house was stinking of oil, we called the landlord & he called out an engineer/boiler man who checked the boiler in the basement & said it was fine & that the weather was causing the fumes to come in to the house. It is now Friday & our house still... Not acceptable, tell them to get it sorted.... The stench of oil really hangs in the air, so I'd suggest giving the place a really good airing (all windows open for at least an hour or two). If it starts smelling again, then... That's not good. I had the same problem after getting my oil tanks filled up… turns out one tank had a leak and was leaking oil all over… smell got into the whole house.... Thanks...

Are you receiving child allowance in the UK? If so and that is more than the German kindergeld...
