Adolf Hitler new at Madame Tussauds in Berlin

Adolf Hitler is back in Berlin. This time as a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds museum. According to an article in the Times, Berliners may threaten to take their children to see him if they don't behave. The Jewish community is uncertain whether it's appropriate to display such a villain here as the museum's primary purpose is to entertain, not to educate.

I am sure there are no Neo-Nazi's pushing to have there picture taken with wax Hitler in London

Being offered a documentary EVERY evening on the History channel or somewhere else about the 2nd WW I am sure that a piece of wax wont make much of a difference. There is nothing to hide anyways just all lot of "face the facts" for all around not just for Germans.

Thanks for posting that article about Hitler being decapitated. I didn't think he would last very long there. The article didn't give many details about the man who did it. But one thing for sure it was someone who had some strong emotional feelings.

I think a wax Adolf is in poor taste and will offend many, many people.

So? Like it or not, he's an enormously important part of modern history.

There has been a Hitler wax figure in a privately owned museum in Hamburg for the past 60 years and it has to date never been touched.

The museum will fix Hitler's head. The man who beheaded him was a person who didn't finish the police academy training "for personal reasons".

Who actually goes to wax museums anymore? They're museum pieces themselves. Anachronistic.

Whatever you think about the vandal this was great free publicity for Mme Tussauds. Second man through the door on opening day! Now everyone knows about Hitler's bust. No doubt they'll have it fixed and back in place in no time to keep the crowds coming.
