Road and race cycling around Berlin

I am hoping to find some people or places where I can ride/race road bikes. I have found a pretty decent route in the Grunewald where there seems to be a lot of roadies but I don't see many organized rides or training. Does anyone know what the local scene is like? It seems like most people look at bikes as a means of transportation or casual exercise, not for sport. I am right? I tried the german road website but it wasn't much help. Thanks

It's basically a forum for road bikers where forum members announce tours in and around berlin fairly frequently.

thanks for the info. i saw a big group out there riding/racing? on Sunday. Unfortunately I just had a bit of a spill when it was raining here the other day. Now my back wheel is ruined. Anyone have a spare 9/10 speed road wheel that they want to sell/loan?
