English-language films in Freiburg or Lörrach

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a cinema which plays English speaking films anywhere in or between Freiburg and Lörrach (I will be staying in Laufen-Sulzburg)? We always drove to Basel in the past but this is a little pricey with the exchange rate.

When I lived in FR, the Friedrichsbau Lichtspiele at Kaiser-Josef-Str. 270 used to show English-language films (or films in their original language). Seems that they still do, for a few shows at least. They are just south of the main pedestrian area.

You probably already know this, but look for 'OmU' when looking at film-listings in Germany, which means that the films will be shown in the original language with German subtitles (Original mit Untertiteln).

... (OV). I.e. a film in "Originalversion" (original version). "original" must not mean English - but mostly it will.

Cheers Guys, there seems to be quite a good selection of films, unfortunately only two are currently in English - Lars and the Real Girl (???) and Hancock mmm . I saw there are also open air cinemas, German or English language regardless, it might be fun at this time of the year.
