Playing American football in Treptow park

We've moved from college to pro, that is: we are playing American football on Sundays now and no longer on Saturdays.

We meet at 2 pm at Treptower S-Bahn Station by the entrance that leads out to park area (east).

Look out for poorly clad Americans with a goose-egg shaped ball. We play in the park itself of course. We are by no means professionals and play two-hand touch. No one takes it too seriously and all are welcome. If you've never played before, don't be shy. It's an easy game to pick up and a good excuse to run around for a few hours. We play rain, shine, or snow. We expect to be there between two and three hours, if not more. Perhaps afterward, we can drink a beer in the park or meet up to watch some NFL.

I'm looking for things to do on the weekends. I just moved to Berlin 2 weeks ago. Some good old fashioned America football sounds fun. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Sunday, September 14th. We will be playing. Here is a map with directions if you are new. The weather looks good for football. The forecast says no rain, but if it does rain tomorrow, we won't be scared away. It is football after all. Come on out if you are looking for some fun and exercise.

i missed out due to free tickets to the eisbaren game which was totally worth going, they won 11-0. But i totally have this sunday in mind on going. Sorry Mark for letting ya down this week and not going. Send me a private email for the other thing we were talkin about maybe we can this week sometime.

For Sunday, September 21. Despite my inability to understand Celsius, the weather looks decent. We are not concerned about a little sprinkle. It adds to the atmosphere of playing. Unless noted otherwise, we will be playing. See you there.

It sure is. It looks sunny in Treptow.

Unfortunately "the girl" is going to Muenchen in an hour so I won't be there today. I know, my amazing skillz (yes, they deserve a z) will be missed. But everyone else should go and play because it's super fun.

You should all meet in middle Bavaria, say, around the Parsberg area. It's probably only a 4-5 hour trip. I'm trying to put a game together for next weekend and I'm finding that most people around here are a bunch of fucking punters and want nothing to do with American football. It could also be my intimidating size Nah, just trying for a game of two-hand touch and I'm not getting many takers.

Sunday, October 5. Because the beautiful Berlin weather, which is perfect for football, is thinning out the park, we've decided to simply meet in the field here. We'll be the ones with a football, not the ones with swords dressed in robes.

I did notice that those guys weren't there today. It made me a little sad.

I´m a little confused though, do you meet at the S-Bahnhof or in the park now?

we meet in the park now. Go outside the Sbahn , make a right. Go across the street and walk straight. You will see an opening to your left and a huge open field we play right there cant miss us. We're the only people throwing a football.

Unfotunately and regrettably, I had to change plans at last minute. My kids mom got sick overnight, which meant he had to come to my place for the day.

However, if there´s still an open invitation, I´d love to join up with yinz next week.
