Hi,
I'm on vacation the whole of September and would like to know if there are any recommendations for german language schools? Would just like to sit-in and improve my german a bit before going back to school in October. I've already done the Integrations Course with B1 level and would like to go on to B2. Volkshochschule has not updated their website yet and their semester ends in September and B2 courses are already finished (sadly last August).
I checked out Berlitz but they did not list any prices. Don't wanna spend that much for just one month.

ps
the german language courses in my university are shitty and is not worth going to. all of my classmates gave up going to them.

For full time classes, You could try IFA (
www.ifa.de) I've heard that their classes are good.
I have done lessons too at Henke Schulungen (
www.henke-schulungen.de) which was pretty good as well.
But it still largely depends on the teacher.

Could anyone currently using or had used any language schools in Stuttgart recommend a good one? There's quite a few to choose from so it's difficult to decide.
I'm looking for one close to the centre/station and I don't mind the price too much so long as it's within (preferably) €100 per month.
Berlitz seemed like a good choice but apparently they don't run evening classes?!

I've attended VHS and IFA in Stuttgart. I prefer VHS. The course is not only cheaper, but you don't waste the time in class that you do at IFA. IFA's courses have more hours per session than VHS, but the session seems to be monopolized by 30 and 45 minute breaks. I had two good teachers at VHS, and one out of two at IFA.
However, if you're not very self-motivated, IFA is good for a lot of homework and weekly quizzes. At VHS, your feedback consists mostly of corrections on essays. I felt VHS was faster-paced than IFA and better worth my money.
Unfortunately, I've never attended Berlitz, so I can't give you any feedback on that..
