A Connecticut family is convinced that the mysterious man accused of kidnapping his daughter in Boston and wanted for questioning in the 1985 disappearance of a California couple was a German student who lived with the family decades ago.
I swear this guy was at curry night once. TTer for sure.

I've been following this story on Boston.com. He was married for 10 years to this highly paid consultant. When they had a baby together (the one that he kidnapped), he stayed home and took care of her. But, I don't think he actually worked at all. He just went around passing himself off as wealthy. His wife divorced him at Christmas time because she was sick of the lies. His fingerprints match that of a man wanted for questioning in the disappearance of his landlords. He was living in a house or barn behind their house. Then they disappeared. They wanted to question him but then he disappeared. They found one of the landlord's bodies buried behind their former house. Now they think he came from Germany.
It's really a mess he's created.
With those glasses he even looks German!

It looks more like he is wearing those kind of glasses you buy in a joke shop with a rubber nose attached.

Wow just read this story in the NY Times today. Quite an exstensive story from him leaving for an exchange program in the US and never returning.
