Hi,
I am interested in a part time job at Finnegans. I am from New Zealand living in Hamburg and speak fluent german. I am available from October and have waitressing experience and and EU passport.
Can you give me a contact number so i can call to discuss.
Cheers
Serenissima
Are you allowed to advertise for a waitress job, i.e. not waiter/waitress m/f?
Not criticising, just curious as to whether sex discrimination laws extend to posts on an internet forum, or maybe is it down to local laws where the server is based (don't know where TT really resides)? Because there is no way you could advertise for a specifically gendered job in the UK without good reason.
And no, I'm not interested in the waitressing job (unless you get to wear a frilly white apron and/or Dirndl).

Hey, I am interested in waiteressing, if you would like I could email you my CV etc.
To cut it short, I was born in Germany, lived here for 4 years, moved the America and lived there for 5 years. Then moved to England where I lived for another 4 years, where I then moved to Germany and lived here for about 3 years, going back to England for another 2, and since June 2008 I have been back in Hamburg. So I am actually 50/50 in both german and english.
I worked in a fast food "restaurant" if it helps and am always happy to learn new things.
