Hello Everyone!
I am an Artist from Australia and have been busy making Sock Monkey's in my studio at home.
The photo is only an example of a few of them...and some have already been sold...so you have to be quick!

Hi all- I bought 2 of Jess's sock monkeys as presents and they are utterly adorable and so well made. Perfect for presents for children, will definately be buying more near xmas time for gifts that are unique and sweet.

cute, but $49 for a sock monkey??? wow.

That's the reality of making monkeys rather than using them to produce your sweat-shop goods. For the time it must take to produce each one, I'd say €33 is a fair price. Not that I'm an expert on stuffed toys, mind.

@Small Town Boy: Thanx for the reasonable and objective point of view You seem to know more than you think.

@whatsjunupto: All my monkey's are made with ALL NEW MATERIALS, including hand-painted, non toxic safety eyes, brand new 100% cotton socks, high quality polyester filling and sewn with Guntermann thread...all of which I have paid for in euros myself. With my time added to this and their unique, one-off, HANDMADE quality, I thought 33 euros was a reasonable price. I throw in the hand-made drawstring bag they come in for nothing.

For the amount of time it takes to create hand made goods, you are going to have to pay a little more. As a seamstress myself I know it can be very difficult to come up with a price that compensates you for your time without being too much. I think 33 euros is completely reasonable. I wish I had a little someone to buy one of these monkeys for! Maybe I'll have to get one for me...

They really are so cute and full of personality. Felix looks like quite the devil though. Does he come to life when you are asleep?

I just wanted to say that yesterday I bought four monkeys from JeppJess and one Tooth Monster (very cute) and a baby's shirt! They are all really, really lovely and the monkeys in particular are so adorable and so expressive and so well made. I can't praise them highly enough!! JeppJess is very talented and I, for one, will continue to keep an eye on her work and will no doubt be purchasing again!!

I have just received a parcel with two monkeys that I bought from Jess.

They're really lovely, would like to keep them for myself, but they are meant as gifts for friends' kids.

They are very well crafted, good quality and very cute.
