Where to buy roller blinds for a child's room

Particularly "Disney Princess" ones

Hi

Does any one know where to buy decorative accessories for a child's bedroom - we are going to re-do our daughter's room for her 3rd birthday next month, and she is currently very into princesses - she has a Disney Princess Light shade already, but I am having problems finding any other themed accessories - I can't even find a plain pale pink roller (window) blind, let alone one with princesses on!

I would really appreciate any advice on where to look - so far have just tried decorating shops (which only sell paint and wallpaper it turns out), Obi, another similar DIY store, the name of which has slipped my mind... I am on my way to try Toys R us in a minute, as there is something else I want to get there, but from memory I don't think they stocked things like window blinds last time I was there.

Many thanks for any information on where might be a good place to look

Baby-Walz sells them online, according to google.

Have you checked online stores like www.quelle.de or www.neckerman.de or perhaps even www.otto.de? They often have Disney stuff for kids' rooms.

For example, Quelle is showing Disney princess curtains as being available. Not the roller blinds you want, but you could get plain white blinds and have the curtain hanging in front. Then when her tastes change, just change the curtain? If you do a general search on Quelle for "Disney Princess", you also will see a Disney Princess bed, schrank, bed linens etc. all with the Princess motif.

I did a quick search, and Neckerman and Otto also carry various Disney princess items. The closest to an actual roller blind I saw was through Otto, a raffrollo. But I admit I didn't look through all the results that came up.

edit: took a closer look at that bed. Actually they are only selling the top part, while the bed itself isn't included.

Thanks for those quick replies!

Sarah thanks for looking for me, but the Baby-Walz ones are for car windows by the look of them.

Bipa thank you for the suggestions, the Quelle curtains seem to be the closest thing available - if I can persuade my husband they are worth the expense and hassle of putting them up (drilling into the concrete wall to put a curtain rail up etc.) when they are transparent so won't keep the light out, and as such are purely a decorative extra in addition to a plain roller blind! I'm sure my daughter would love them though. I have bought a princess duvet cover and a couple of other accessories from Toys R us and other places (as I thought Toys R us don't do blinds), and we have wall stickers ready and some complimentary new cupboards (plain pink and white) on order but really the window is the big thing that needs sorting so we can everything ready to decorate her room while she's at Kindergarten on her birthday!

Thanks for the suggestions - if anyone else knows where I could get a princess roller blind or even a plain pink one, I'd love to hear - Obi and the other DIY places don't even seem to do pink.

Thanks

Hilary
