Illegal pesticides found in Germany's produce

Noticed this item on the Deutsche Welle site. I think I must've been lucky so far, having occasionally eaten fruit without washing it.

You won't know whether you're lucky or not until you or your future get have or haven't grown a third ear. And anyway, washing probably won't do all that much against toxic chemicals, right?

Keep buying those bio products from Brazil and turn a blind eye to producing toxic atmospheric waste. Better to breath it than to eat it.

Bio stores are overpriced bullshit. I try to buy from local organic farmer's markets. It's not anywhere near perfect, but I reckon it's as close as I can get without having my own garden and greenhouse.
