On the one hand, I have to say that it is sort of a poetic justice. However, I used to work in Dreilinden (an industrial area near Berlin) and sometimes would walk from the Wannsee station to work. Boars are roaming there - these animals are huge and scary. Ouch.

The hunter was an old fart. If your gonna take on a wild boar at least be prepared to run for your life and know what plan b is just in case you miss or just clip the boar (gonna be one pissed off boar). I went along a few times with the neighbor hunting and dragged his kill out for him since he was to old to walk(!). He at least wasn't stupid to take on boar's just stuck to rabbit's and deer.
