Ultimate Frisbee - Wednesdays and Sundays

I can't as I have some frineds in town. But otherwise I would have loved to have joined.

No promises as I'm reserving Sunday for sleeping in and crawling up into a fetal position all day.

But if I manage to be a good boy I'll probably join you.

Oh right, I forgot that Saturday was the party.

wow dunno if I could still make it but I will be leaving for the States soon again, so I probably have to...say goodbye!

I'd be up for playing at 1pm if it suits, since it's getting dark (and colder) pretty early now.

Nice idea Jay!, but not sure whether I can make it. Also, the wetteronline.de weather forecast says -7 to -1 C and overcast, which sounds too cold to me...

@moo- was going to try to go this past sun, but after sat pm party and sun my bday it didnt work out. i've never actually played ultimate w/ these guys- just have wanted to. i can barely throw a frisbee but if you ever want to head out to a park to throw let me know!

I'm actually in the same boat, so let me know if ya'll manage to get anything together.

we could always try for sometime this weekend... attempt for ultimate and if it doesn't work just throw it around a bit. if not this weekend then i'd say sometime jan 3 or after (haha b/c i'm gone dec 22 until jan 3!)

If you're playing this weekend I'd like to give it a try. Although I think it is a bit weird to play Frisbee during wintertime??

yeah perhaps it's a bit odd, but so am i no seriously- yeah, but it's just that we normally associate frisbee w/ nice summer days. and i figure if we all dont care about freezing our asses off then why not? if it sucks oh well we stop.

1pm is fine with me. Just a warning: I played some frisbee during the summer but not much. I'd say I'm skilled enough to not annoy you. But see for yourself

Unfortunately I haven't thrown a frisbee in about 6 months, so I will definetly annoy you - however, 1 on Sunday sounds good. But then I'm out've town from the 23rd to the 6th.

okay i'll check to see when i work on sun. hopefully can make it. i suck at frisbee so hope everyone doesnt mind (just think warm gluhwein when you become frustrated w/ my lack of skill)

doesn't matter. so we all suck at frisbee then go for Glühwein. Seems to be the perfect treat for me ;-)

Good luck with your game folks - I'm afraid I'm away by then, but some of the other regular frisbee players might join you... we usually play near to the entrance to the park near the North exit of U6 Gieslestrasse. Have fun!

hey there frisbee enthusiasts! okay so here's the deal... Sun is TT foodage at TB (well newbie brunch, but open to all). it's at, i believe, 12.30. i say postpone frisbee and go eat! so we could eat and then when done head out to throw around a bit (if we feel like it. if others are up for this idea i'll bring mine w/ me).
what do you think? yay or nay?

Depends whether there is snow on the ground, but decent weather to hit the mountains. If not, then, should I be awake and not too hung over, would be a great idea!

Lads, I will try to show up, but in all honestly it looks like a large one for me tommorow (a friend's going away party) so please don't count on me showing up, althought I will definetly be interested after I return to Munich on Jan. 6.

There may be no ultimate going on in Munich at the moment, but some great news just in... Becca's bump became "Thomas" at 5am this morning... Congratulations guys!

Just to dust off this thread, a few us are thinking about a bit of a throw around on Saturday before the snows come in again Sunday. It may even turn into a game if enough people show up. We'll be playing at 2pm (warmest part of the day!) at the Giselestrasse venue above. All welcome, but please let us know here if you're coming before Friday night, when the TT server will go to sleep until Saturday afternoon, probably after we've finished playing and are happily warming our cockles in GM's.

Just to make sure, we're playing Saturday at the Giselestrasse location at 2pm. If it's blizzarding then we'll not be playing!

If you've never played before, heck, even if you've never even thrown a frisbee before, you're welcome. Please add your name here if you think you'll be along:

Ohhh, i'll be right there at the Geisenhofer Klink all day. If I can pop out for a few throws I just might. Can't commit though and most likely will be too busy to come out.

Glad to see the games are starting back up. Now we just need to install a frisbee golf course in the garden for the summer so we don't have to drive out to Weilheim.

Been a long time since I saw you guys... should be good to get the crowd together again, especially if some of the newer faces make it (Mere!?). We want a game! Gotta have the cones for making the 2-box-field in case we can play 2-on-2 or 3-on-3. That was fun last time when we had low numbers.

I have the cones and will bring them.

as of now, i'm free- just need to head back around 4-430 to work. thigns always change so yeah.. i'll let you know later this afternoon for sure!
