Oddly enough... we're talking via PM about a game on Sunday. 2pm suit you guys? And Tomansino, no idea what you're talking about, but we generally play a loose, easy game. We don't keep score until the last few points. Beginners very welcome.

Okay, let's run with this.
Sunday, 2pm, Giselastrasse venue
We play a friendly game of Ultimate, absolute beginners welcome although it does help if you can at least recognise the shape of a frisbee/disc. Start out with a general throw about, you'll be able to see us as there are generally lots of discs in the air. After a half hour or so of that, we move into a scratch game - tending not to keep score until the last few points. After that we wander along to a beer garden for a helles or two and some food.
If it's raining lightly I'll still be there. If it's raining heavily I probably won't. To get to where we play, exit Giselastrasse U6 at the NORTH end and walk towards the gardens past the fielmann opticians. Keep in that direction, cross over at the traffic lights and walk into the park. We play on the LHS of the road, on the way towards the lake. Often you can recognise us by the bright yellow cones, but I'm not sure if they'll be making an appearance this weekend.
PM me for my mobile number if you want...
most importantly, please post here if you're coming to let me guage numbers

long as the weather isn't super rainy and neither of us have to work Tenique and i will be there (so 50-75% chance)
note- both of us suck. we do know what a frisbee looks like and what one is supposed to do w/ it, but neither of us can really do anything w/ it.

brokenm, you are officially smarter than me... i was wondering for a full 30 seconds what an "ith" was and how it was funny before i gave up

i'll probably come provided the weather is ok. unless the weather is incredibly, fantastically good in which case there is a 20% chance of skydiving.

Not sure what's going to happen with the rain - a mixture of forecasts suggest that it will either peter out at some point or keep going. They all agree that we're going to get up to a barmy 15 degrees C today though... hopefully see you there!

Hi. I'm new to Toytown, but have lived in Munich for 8 months now. I just logged on and learned that you all play Ultimate. Yeah! I played Ultimate for fun in Venice, FL for about 3 years and have miss the game immensely. I am definitely looking forward to playing again. Count me in for your next game.

Excellent game everyone, nice to be playing again.
@hezamarie, welcome to Toytown.

We just started the season today actually. During peak season (May - Sept) we almost always play both Wednesdays and Sundays. But since temps can still vary quite a bit this time of year, its best if you just check this thread to see if a game is being organized. If the weather plays nicely, I think we're shooting for next Sunday, so April 2nd.
See ya out there!

I'm up for frisbee, be it ultimate or just a throwaround any night this week (I need my fix). The weather forecast looks grim though - like it will rain from now until the end of the world. Still, at least things have defrosted.

Weather's looking ok for Sunday, and the timing seemed to work pretty well last week. Let's say Sunday, 2pm at the Giselestrasse venue. DW's threatened to bring down his new portable hole for a quick disc golf session after we've cooled down in the Chinese Tower.
Beginners welcome, post here if you're going to come down so I can get an idea of numbers. PM if you want a phone number, I'll try to remember the thing.
