Ultimate Frisbee - Wednesdays and Sundays

I'm on the fence. Depends on weather and work and motivation.

I am also Weather Dependent... Will bring frisbee gear to class, and then decide at 5:45

As long as it isn't pouring down at 5:30, I'll be making my way to the field then. Should few people show up by 6:30, I'd be interested in a plan B. Any suggestions?

Those looking for cleats: I highly recommend the turf shoes with little knobbies, instead of full-bore cleats. I found the real cleats are only worthwhile and better when it's really wet/muddy. Or when you have nice, thick, plush turf, which the Englischer Garten does NOT!

With the real cleats where we play, most of the time you get more blisters, and a higher chance of ankle sprains. I think the knobbies are just as responsive on our usual surface of medium-hard dirt/grass, and nicer on the feet. I got both my normal cleats and turf shoes on clearance somewhere. Check SportScheck Hotspot in Ostbahnhof.

It looks further on the map but really it is a 2-minute walk down the street from the Ubahn station, U4 or U5 Max-Weber Platz.

HB Keller is a great place on a sunny friday. Good Maß and a Salsalitos bar so you can get frozen drinks if you want 'em. Will be crowded today with the weather. I'll join you guys for sure, but looks like I'm stuck at work a few more hours first ;-(

Cracking night last night chaps, pretty much my last memory of the evening was picking up 10 or so cocktails in the last 15 mins of happy hour with Tony..
Either way, Sara hope you had a good evening and you'll be missed by all!

Hey everyone!! (Sorry I was a little MIA on the thread... I didn't have internet access for while there)

Thanks to everyone who came out on Friday--I had an awesome time! Sorry my fountain excursion took so long... we got a bit lost for a while... Totally fun though--you all should have joined! Glad people were still there at the club when we got there.

Yay for pictures--thanks Tony and Miles. (PS Miles, was that your "lesbian"?? She was all over you, man--a picture is worth a thousand words...)

Incidentally, if anyone else has pictures I'd love them--either of that night or any time. I am finding myself sadly lacking in pictures of my munich trip.

Anyway, thanks for coming out, thanks for all the drinks (I kept finding drinks in my hand all night... not entirely sure how that was happening...), thanks for frisbee, thanks for everything... I had such a good year, and I met so many awesome people... love you guys!!!

Well I have been in Massachusetts for about three days and I miss Munich already. I can't remember the last time I went this long without going out... or even getting a text message! Totally having withdrawals. Hope you guys are having fun, and I miss you already! Keep in touch!

Okay - It is looking slightly Ugly out right now...

I am still willing to play Frisbee because it would be my last chance, But I understand that the impending doom of rain may turn a few people off

I would still like to go out and have a last Maß, going away party style thing... so I need recommendations of a Beer Garden. I like HofbräuKeller and have been reading reviews of places like Augustinerkeller and Löwenbräukeller, so what is a good place??

It's gonna be sunny and we're gonna play!!! but if it rains, ... beergartens are also not envogue. What about something cheezy like hoffbrauhause?
