I might come by after you guys play to hang out for a bit. What's the after-game plan? Probably cold for the Turm.

I assume from the weather today, there won't be a big crowd playing. Anyone doing something else interesting?

Hey all you
Frisbee Players! Now that the bitter German cold has set in and we don't get to see each other so much, I figured it would be nice to do a potluck Thanksgiving/Christmas Dinner. Here's the idea: everyone brings their favorite Thanksgiving/Christmas food to share with the rest, so that we can have an international feast =). Sounds pretty good, huh? Only problem is WHERE? Anyone willing to offer their place for the get-together on Nov. 17th or on Dec. 8th? You need to have an oven and enough room for us to crowd in. Put up a post or send me a message if you'd be up for it! Thanks and hope to see y'all soon! Megan

It's gonna be a squeeze but I am gonna have the Thankgiving Potluck at my apartment in Perlach. The date is Saturday, Nov. 17 - the time, 7pm. I really only have space for 10-12 people so if you want to come, contact me by TT message or at megmccool@yahoo.com. Let me know what you plan to bring so that we can make sure to cover all the Thanksgiving basics! Hope to hear from you! Megan
Hi everyone! (or whoever's reading this thread in December)
Toytown alumni do report back occasionally... I hope everything is going great in Munich.
I wanted to thank Arthur and everybody who signed the Toytown Ultimate disc he sent me. It is awesome.
This photograph shows where the disc likes to spend its Saturdays: flying around in front of the Air and Space Museum.

There was surprisingly no suitable middle-of-the-week game when I got here, so I started a little unlicensed Ben Panter franchise at my lab.
We've still got some games going here, even though winter is approaching. If any of you are ever in DC, send me a PM, and I'll hook you up with some Ultimate.

Since we never had a real end of the season party, would anyone be down for informal drinks Saturday the 15th? I guess I can organize it, but lets see how many people are interested first...cut and paste people!!

I know. Maybe we should wait until after Christmas...
I'm interested but leave on the 14th and return for New Years, so after that would be great for me personally.

Hmmm... the throwing and catching the
frisbee thing I have nailed. It's the whole "While running about" part that has me worried. These old bones are not what they used to be. "Run" has become a four letter word in my vocabulary. The most exercise I get these days is when I get frisky and right-click my mouse with my middle finger for a thrill. Once in a while, I'll even use the scroll wheel on an extra long spreadsheet instead of just clicking the down arrow, although I do get a bit winded after such an exertion...

Since the weather's looking unusually warm for the next few days, maybe a game of ultimate of Saturday would be in order? I would jump at the chance to burn of some of those Pringles and Yorkshire puddings. That is, if I can still jump with this lifebelt.
Any interest?

Ok HB, you go in first and I will think about following
Looking at the forecasts, there is quite the swing in predictions.
Everything from rainy and a high of 4C to sunny and a high of 11C
Most of them say a high of 8-10C, and partly cloudy in the afternoon...
here's hoping
