It's a herlicher Tag in Munich. Can't wait to werf a little disk!!

Today looks like another game I'm gonna miss. GOSH!

Sorry guys I'm still sick...cant paly and wouldnt be fun trying to catch my breath while I'm choking on my cough trying to catch a frisbee...
...sunday...let's hope for sunday...

I am wicked psyched about tonight's game!

Thanks for the game yesterday, despite shin splints and a new location - Fantastic,

and more importantly, no one was injured when the run-a-way horse ran through the game!

I had a great time as well, but I left too early to see the horse. Damn!

It was quite spectacular.

Davo and I were running for a frisbee, looking upward when suddenly there was this tremendous noise and a horse
(with mad eyes) galloped past us, missing me by about two metres and leaving enormous hoof marks in the pitch.

Obviously the worst thing was that I didn't catch the frisbee.

That was my spirit, incarnated in equine form, returning to Munich to join you guys for the game.

Gives me an idea tho, what about playing ultimate on horses? Could be interesting... Uh, I mean, suicidal

The ultimate meetup is on Sunday at 16:00 in the English Gardens near Giselastrasse.
I won't be there this time (ultimate vs weekend in Italy was a difficult decision...).

Hey all, just got back from Chicago, and am looking to play today. Seems like quite a few are gone with the long weekend and all, anybody else besides Hayn and I coming out?

I can think of at least three others who should show (counting me). If the weather's not too bad, I predict a decent turnout.

... hmmm. Weather is a bit "uglisch" at the moment. T-minus 60 minutes ... we'll see.

Well, the weather didn't turn out all that uglisch on Sunday, not a drop of rain on us - just goes to show that it ain't ever as bad as it may seem. So when in doubt, come out! (oy vey, that rhymes actually, sounds horrible too it does... )

We totaled 5 on Sunday, so we just tossed 3 frisbees among us - great oppurtunity to practice them throws that you never would dare to try in a game - in my case, the fronthand?, and controlled long tosses. It was great fun - thanks to those who came out.

But, looking forward to a proper game tomorrow, Wednesday, and the forecast says no rain; do we dare believe?! Hope to see a good turnout, and hope to see some new faces as well!

No matter how shit the weather looks now, the forecast for tomorrow afternoon is 23-25 degrees will little/no chance of rain.

Marie want's to come out, but the weather is never very nice on Sun.s and Wed.s. I don't know what it is. Yesterday turned out pretty well - but it was still cool and windy. Errg.

Another perfect ultimate day. Not too hot and... er... not too hot. It's the best August 21st this year so we may as well use it!

Arr. After hiking all morning in the rain with a fellow Ultimate player, our judgment was the weather in Munich would be worse than by Worthsee. Looks like it will not be an Ultimate day for me after all.

D'oh! Oh well. Despite the rain, I hiked 11 km around a lake and ran about 4-5 miles. So I will be ready for Wed if it decides not to pour.

Ya, that was a great game yesterday! A fun gathering at the Turm after altho Maße (plural) can be dangerous on a Sunday night, leading to "a case of the Mundays".

Can I get you some pizza shooters, shrimp poppers, or extreme fajitas?

I just ran by our traditional spot. If it stops pissing down and gets bright tomorrow afternoon, it will be soggy but definitely better than a big puddle.

I will say... those of you without cleats will be sliding your poor sodden stumps in the grass while the likes of Haynous and I tear it up.

Although the weather finally cleared up I'm kinda injured at the moment - actually because of playing UF - so I will spare my miserable body...
I still have someone's frisbee BTW ... I'll bring it next time.
My sports doc's verdict will fall tomorrow
