I was going to go to the southside festival, but I was reading exactly how they cut off both legs and half of one arm as payment...and then I thought "umm...maybe that's a bit expensive for my taste" In Minnesota you can get similar festivals for $40...so umm...no thanks.

Rock Am See, however, is just 50 euros...it's at the end of August...and the best part...NOFX are playing, one of 5 dates in europe (Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are touring and apparently the rest of NOFX just decided to play a few shows in the middle of Me first's tour)...so it's possible to see NOFX (at rock am see) and Me First (in Munich) in one week.

We paid 40 bucks to see Die Toten Hosen alone in Munich last December, so that's a deal too. ...and Social distortion is always good. ...too bad korn are playing, but at least 2 more bands are going to be added.

Is anyone else going? If so, maybe we can carpool...we have a car, just trying to make it as cheap as possible for everyone.

Apparently no one else is going since no one ever responded...sad, for such a good show in the area. (3 hours) ...and WAY freakin' cheaper than other festivals. We'll have fun...probably sleep in the car.
