Footy is back as of this Friday! I've booked a game on 20 July from 6:30-8pm. The new regulars should sign up on the sheet as per normal, but anyone else who wants to play should pm me or post their interest here. If there's a free place or 2, I'll PM you to let you know. I am planning to book one game a week during the summer. The games will normally be on a Friday but could also be during the week. Check the thread every week.

@Gaz - I'm gonna send out the PMs with all the new info about payment etc. All of the summer games are 'pay as you go'. If we get 12 guys, you can all expect to pay €6 each. If we get less, you might be asked to pay a bit more.

p.s. Cost per player will be between 6 and 7 euros depending on how many turn up. The pitch costs €69 for 90 mins and we're looking for a maximum of 12 players. Try and bring change or small notes if you can. Don't try and hit me with any foreign currency like PSmith does. Ta!

Right, so as it's Tuesday Andy and I are naturally thinking about the weekend and discussed going for a few libations after footie on Friday, say the back of 9pm somewhere on Leopoldstr.

Hi mate, it's €6 per player. This is where you need to go:

Take the U3 to the Olympiapark U-Bahn station and head for the stadium as you leave. Cross over the bridge and then look for the building on your left. It is clearly signposted (Socca5 Füssball Halle) so you can't miss it. We will be playing on one of the bigger pitches so you should have no trouble finding us.

We're playing 6-7:30pm. Just look for fellas wearing British football shirts. Pitch 4, I think. Can you let me know for definite if you and your mate can come? Cheers.

Game's definitely on or daddy loses his money cos it's too late to cancel. I'm not here on Friday so no game booked then.

do you play with permanent goalkeepers , and if so , what is the playing surface ?

We do play with goalies (normally switch every few goals) and the surface is astroturf. That means you only really dive about if you're either A: wearing jogging bottoms, B: tough, or C: daft! Let me know if you're keen for a game.
