Indoor five-a-side football games - Fridays

Okay, I can take your place for the time being, we'll sort the money out, hope your knee gets better though...I'm not actually feeling too bad this morning (considering) felt a lot worse after last week, must be getting fitter already! :-)

My legs are dead! Two months without any training and then that last night definitely knackered me out! But was still great fun! Hope to see all you guys next week!

My bad for not making last night... I think my lady gave me her bug and feel like sh-t. Looking forward to next week though, and have put out some feelers at work to see if I can get a couple of guys to sub in when there are openings.

I have just returned from the doctors where I have been given medication, bandages and crutches. In light of my recent injuries and they way the keep re-occuring, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my retirement from international football. I would like to spend however long I have left of my playing career focusing on both the park and the five-a-side aspects of the game. I know this comes at a bad, with regards to the world cup coming up, but I feel this is the best course of action for me.

Well, that's 7 'officially' signed-up, but Rebellion Lies said he was gonna play, as indeed did Taj when I saw him on Saturday. Marius always signs up late too, so I reckon we'll be just fine tonight. The beer garden on Mondays is for poofs anyway! See you all later on

BTW - great game last night lads. For those who couldn't make it, we had 13 in total giving us a few subs, which meant we were able to play for the whole 90 mins (+15mins extra free at the end) without stopping. Excellent. Next Monday is a Bank Holiday, but we should be able to rustle up at least 8 I'd say. Hopefully see most of you then. Hope your toe's alright Sean. Sorry about that mate but I did play the ball...having said that, Wenger wouldn't accept my excuse!

What sort of Shoes are recommended to wear? Should I try for other players?

Just indoor footy shoes. Anything with grip. I think we should be alright for players but check back later maybe.
