I've just got in from a superb evening out in Stuttgart, and for anybody who's looking for live music in the city, you've just got to take a look at The (W)Right Thing playing at the Zap Club on the first Monday in the month. The main man, Jason Wright, hails from sunny Wakefield and he's put together some of the funkiest, rockinest, baddest doods around.
Maaaan, they kick ass! cool.gif

Christ, this is an old thread!

Zap no longer exists, and The Wright Thing have now relocated to Bix jazz club, where a much scaled-down ensemble play more jazzy, bluesy, funky type stuff. Still a great evening out, but totally different vibes. If it's indie you're after, then Schocken is probably where you want to be heading.
