The Dopes will be playing the Shamrock Saturday for the "Long night of music"

You're slipping Bludga. You haven't mentioned that your doing a spot HERE in June 2008.
yeah unfortunately we have had to pull out of the greenfarm as we have a gig at the university again this friday and then we have the Schrobenhausen festival which we played last year again on Saturday. Will definitely play greenfarm and support it next year if invited again in some form or another. Just on the wrong weekend for us this weekend mate. Hope it all goes well!

The Dopes are calling it a day!
The Dopes would like to thank Editor Bob and all the Toytowners who showed their heads at our gigs over the past couple of years and for Toytown supporting our advertising during this time. We have played some fun ones and some crazy ones and also plenty of shit gigs which go with the territory of playing pub circuits. We have also played some massive gigs which seem to have landed in our laps somehow here and outside of munich and last Saturday we finished up with the biggest. We played the Schrobenhausen Summer fest again.
Some notable gigs have been at the Euro during the octoberfest last year, the last two Aussie days at the Shamrock have been massive. A couple of big ones at Kilians and Neds a while ago. The long night of music a month ago was a belter in the Shamrock as well. We have met some cool musicians such as Jeffrey Hayes who opened up for us on many occasions at the Euro and the Shamrock. Zane Charron who opened and then jammed with us at the Euro who is well known on Toytown as well. It was great to meet new musicians and get to jam with them live.
The last people to thank are Troy and Jacko, we had a few laughs and some mad times. We have opened pubs and closed them, smashed loads of equipment played free gigs for mates, raised money for sports clubs played outdoor festivals whilst always screaming our guts out and managed to storm through places as if we created em. You gotta laugh. I am sure you will see Troy Jacko or myself in different line ups in and around munich before too long.

Oktoberfest. This will be a loud assault and no doubt a messy affair and is sure to be rammed from plenty of heads who are sick of lining up on the first day of the fest and locals who know better. So if you would like to see 3 idiots give it one last bash come on down, this will be a chance for the Dopes to play one final gig in Munich which we didn´t do as our split came after the Schrobenhausen festival. We will also be raising as much money as we can for the German Rugby League guys through a raffle as well as we have done in the past.

The Dopes will play the Arc for a Sunday afternoon bash to celebrate Australia day 2009 Sunday the 25th of Jan. There will be a BBQ and live music starting from 4pm.
Should be messy, well loud and a good crack.
