This morning he's at the Grunewald memorial. At lunchtime he'll be meeting Chancellor Merkel at the Interconi hotel. And this evening it's off to Schloss Bellevue for a reception with Bundespräsident Köhler. He flies out of Berlin tomorrow at 9am for a visit with the Pope in Rome.
Interestingly enough, whilst the Interconti was being sealed off a police diver found a WWII bomb in the neighbouring canal.
