We are a company that hosts tours to Oktoberfest every year, and our staff stays in Munich for 3-4 weeks during the event. We are looking to rent a furnished apartment large enough to accommodate 6 people (so 3-4 rooms). It is important to us to have a kitchen, wireless Internet, and enough space to set up our office (laptops, paperwork, etc.). We also need to be close to a U-Bahn line within a 1-5 stops of the Hauptbahnhof.

If interested in renting next year please contact me by email: ashley@ludustours.com

Thanks so much!

I can recommend this group as responsible, clean and professional; they are not party animals, unruly or unreliable and will take good care of your property and premises.

hey guys, been a long time since i lived in Munich, but am planning on coming back to celebrate my bachelor party. Since i remember Munich get's booked up very fast i was hoping to reserve rooms, etc..asap...am planning on having around 12 people with me and therefore would ideally like to find a centrally located apartment/condo/house to squeeze everyone into. Anybody have any ideas? Mr. Lodge doesn't really have anything that would fit for only a couple of days i don't think. Probably looking at a weekly rental or by night if possible.

Anyway, hope someone out there can offer some guidance.

Thanks in advance!! biggrin.gif

you could try holidayrentals.co.uk (or, if you're game, the german sister site fewo-direkt.de as I think it might have more Munich properties listed). I've used the site for a number of European vacations, and been quite pleased.

Thanks Butterbean. What about a good hotel in the city center? The only place i've stayed at (because i lived in my apartment) was the Hotel Platzl which was great, but unfortunately their largest rooms are double rooms and i'd prefer a hotel with rooms large enough for at least 3 adults. I'm hoping to find a decent hotel between Marienplatz and the central station (Karlsplatz area). Any recommendations??? Would be willing to pay up to 250 EUR/night.

THanks in advance!

You might try the Arthotel. I took a walk by when I was staying at the Sofitel by the Hauptbahnhof (I don't live there anymore either, but make the occasional trip back), and it looked pretty good - I think it's been redone, but should still be somewhat reasonable and I've heard the rooms are decent sized. There's also the Anna - good and central.

Congratulations! :-)

What do you intend to pay? If your guys are up to a low budget accommodation you can check the hostels for a dorm... They are between Karlsplatz and Marienplatz but still quite close to the centre and the fest.
