Hi All,
Ok, its a strange question but I have guests coming over the weekend and a few of them like to drink heifeweissen with banana juice in there.
When I was in Berlin I had a good idea where I could get it from but Dresden, No idea.
Has anyone seen this on their travels?
Cheers,
David.

Any Getraenke markt or supermarket. Sometimes also calles Bananen Nektar. Sweet as hell and rots the teeth.
Why destroy a good Hefe with sweet stuff is beyond me...

I don't know whether this would be any different in Dresden, but I seem to remember that my mother used to buy banana juice sometimes, and she always bought her stuff at PLUS. I can't imagine that it would be so hard to find banana juice in a regular supermarket, though?

Thanks guys, I'll have a look around and see what I can find. I had already checked in plus and Lidl but could not find any.
I agree with Deccie, why waste a good hefe.
However with a not so good Hefe its allowed :-)

I normally buy the Rapps stuff (in glass bottles) have managed to find it almost everywhere so far, not in every supermarket though I guess. Getränkemarkt ias mentioned before is most likely your best bet

Wheat beer with a banana in it. It's rather lovingly called "Affenkotz" (Monkey's sick!).

Also the better Asian markets; Indonesians are banana juice mad, for example. Or was that just me while I was there.
