Hi There

Any ex-pats out there from Preston, UK (or Portsmouth) ? Interested in Meeting up to watch the game, and to have one or two beers?
potatoeman
I'm from Pompey (Leigh Park) but now living in Munich. May take me longer to get to Berlin than back to Fratton Park? laugh.gif

Damn FA Cup weekend again? sad.gif
berlinender
..Well we had the damn egg chasing weekend last weekend didnt we?
Partridge
Premiership was on last weekend. FA Cup/International football weekends are rubbish.
berlinender
Your opinion mate...this aint a post asking peoples opinions on / or Premiership football, but thanks for the meaningless post all the same...
Partridge
No worries. Premiership and champions league are the only ones really. But yeah, another meaningless post.

A North ender in Berlin? My God I Never thought I'd experience that. I'm a Prestonian actually but not a PNE fan. small world.
berlinender
It is indeed. so may i ask then, who you do support - that is taken if you do like footy.?? If your around the Irish Harp in
Charlottenburg on Sunday, pop in and say hi!..

My Dad's from Blackburn and I went to school there, so i support the rovers and have supported Rovers all my life. Still got alot of time for North End though, i remember playing on the plastic pitch when I was young in a youth tournament, scored a goal at the Town end! Good days. My Family still live in Lancs, in Hoghton but I've been living here for 6 years now...not that I don't miss things about Lancashire...
I might well pop in, got a few things to do so time is tight, I generally go to watch the footy in the old emerald isle in Kreuzberg, now called Murrays Irish pub

God thats spooky...I went to school in Blackburn too...Pleckgate.. biggrin.gif

Bloody 'ell, it is a small world. I'm afraid to report that I was at the posh school, whose name I presumably don't need to mention because everyone in Blackburn knows which one it is. Begins with a Q.
