SCUBA diving clubs in Munich

Dear all,

I am a keen scuba diver and will shortly be moving to Munich (likely close to the centre). I have no problem with (very!) cold water and keen on seeing some of the local sites, i.e. lakes. I was wondering if there is anyone that could recommend some Munich based clubs that are reasonably active. I do not mind if it is either society based (i.e. BSAC style) or shop based (i.e. PADI style)

Now there were three shops mentioned in the forums:

Fins-Up: Seemed to come under some critique
Beyond Diving: Seemed to get some good reviews but is a long way out for me
Tauchen-Braun: A few said this was OK

Does anyone regularly go with a dive shop/club that they could recommend?

Excellent scenery, good prices on hire equipment, the gear seems to be well looked after, there's a nice Bavarian hotel/restaurant right next to the dive shop for post-dive Schweinshaxe. The diveshop operator, Michael Hell, is a friendly chap who knows heaps about the divesites in the area, and would be able to put you in touch with other divers looking for dive partners.

My husband and I will be moving to Munich this summer and are keen to find other Scuba Divers in Munich or a group that organizes group dive vacations (warm water only! ).
I have registered my "interest" in this on TT but just curious if anyone knows of a specific group.

We are going diving in a lake tomorrow, woooooo hoooooo BUT its gonna be sooooo cold...12degrees, compared to the tropics I am used to it shall certainly be an experince!

There is a group of 17 going so it can´t be toooooo bad!

It was organised through a dive shop my boyfriend found near Sendlinger Tor. It seems well priced, will let you know how it goes!
