Frankfurt Hash House Harriers

Who are We?
Well first of all, for those of you belonging to the law enforcement community, we do not do the other kind of hash. Our experience of drugs is limited to aspirin and paracetamol for the alleviation of hangovers after excessive partying.
The Hash House Harriers is a drinking club with a running problem and is the world's largest disorganisation. The run follows the pattern of a 'hare & hounds' where one or more persons known as the hares mark a trail to be followed by the rest of the participants.The first club was founded in 1938 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since then the hash has expanded worldwide.

We are a mixed hash with mostly adults, although children are not excluded, no special 'horrors' runs are set. However, please note that some of the language and songs may not be suitable for children. If you want to find out more about the Frankfurt Hash House Harriers click here

When do we Run?
We run weekly, in Winter - Sunday at 14:30 noon and in Summer - Mondays at 19:00. At the moment we are running on SUNDAY. Check the 'Coming Run List' for more info and location of our next run.

Where do we Run?
Sometimes we run in the city but we usually run within half an hour up to an hour's drive of Frankfurt. If you need a lift to get to the start of the run, please call the hare and he or she will help put you in touch with someone. Click here for information about the next run.

How Much?
Other than for special events the run fee is 3,- Euros, to be paid to Hash Cash before the run. This fee pays for beer, soft-drinks and snacks available at the circle and for any drink-stops. Occasionally, the fee will be increased to cover special events like barbeques and this is announced on the run information. Those forgetting to pay before the run will be suitably punished!

Some of you may have noticed that we are also plugging the hash under meetups/events as this is what Munich H3 do. Some of us regard hashing as aa sport others prefer the social side.

To be fair there is room for each and we are always up to send some front-running, headless chickens checking up or down the muddier parts of the Grosser Feldberg.
