Cricket team in Berlin

Calling all Aussies, Kiwis, Brits, Indians - in fact anyone!! Team in Berlin recruiting players for the new season, all abilities welcome! We have training 1or2 times a week, and matches at the weekend.

next training is next monday, 1945 - 2145. (indoor)
and outdoor TBC this season (evry team get alloted day for outside training)

2nd league matches play friday evening, 1st team saturday or Sunday

both outdoor training and matches are played at the Olympiastadion

Just out of curiosity, i'd like to know if you have a girls team as well. I'm currently still in South Africa and am considering moving to Berlin around June/July.
At this point I won't be able to play at all though, since i'm 4 months pregnant. hihihi. Do let me know of any girls cricket teams and whether they would except players that have no prior training. I've kept score and such for teams but haven't actually played before.

Yes theres a Girls /womans Cricket team in Berlin. They usually train outdoors on a Monday in the Summer months at the OS, im not sure when the matches are on. Im sure they would let you come down and get involved, in whatever capacity.

I was also looking for a women's cricket team in Berlin, but didn't really find anything, so I joined the Berlin CC mens team. They're a good bunch of lads, and seem fairly content with having a girl tagging along.

Didnt you go up to the Olympiastadion on a Monday? The womens team train there then. However if you enjoy the game with BCC then thats just as cool - isnt there enough members for 4 teams there?

Just to let you all know, Cricket tomorow evening 5.30-6 start at Körnerplatz, Max-Braun Straße, Olympiastadion...

for Directions - on leaving the U bahn and exit, bear right up the walkway to the main road. take a right, and walk down a short distance to max baun strasse on your left.
follow the road to the security, and ours is the first pitch on the right...
