Language schools for German as a foreign language

Despite extensive Google-ing in both English and German, I haven't had much luck locating German language schools in/near Kassel. I'm looking to begin an intensive A1 course in early 2009.

Does anyone know of any schools in the area and/or have a review to share? I found Institut für Sprachen and Europa-Kolleg via Google, and apparently Uni Kassel has some sort of program there as well (although any remotely relevant information on their website is conveniently only in German). That's all I've been able to track down, so far.

Any help/suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated - thanks.

Hey... I went through an intensive language course, but I can't recommend the one I went to. I made it to the B1 level, but mostly through work on my own during the last three months of the program. Here are some others (I don't know how they are though) from a list I got from some bureaucratic office:

VHS Landkreis Kassel: 05619-985612, Fr.-Ebert-Str. 35
Akademie für Interkulturelle Bildung: aibev.de, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 35
Kasseler Sprachen & Wirtschaftsschulen: 0561-7126630, Fünffensterstr. 4
SÜZ - Sprach und Übersetzungszentrum: 0561-5214868, Fünffensterstr. 8
Grone Bildungszentren: 0561-711761, Kölnische Str. 39
VBSF Dienstleistungs: 0561-913150, Königstor 4-6
Sprache & Bildung: 0561-7669449, Ständeplatz 18
Berlitz Deutschland: 0561-4007020, Königsplatz 59
Institut für Sprachen: 0561-2860020, Wesertstr. 1
DAA-Kassel: 0561-807060, Angersbachstr. 4
Internationaler Bund Kassel: 0561-9892026, Holländische Str. 12
Kulturzentrum Schlachthof: 0561-983500, Mombachstr. 12

I hope that helps... good luck!
