Anyone in or near Frankfurt who surfed back home who would be willing to take trips to France this summer and rip a few waves? Let me know. I'm from southern California and miss going surfing daily.

i did some wind-surfing in France several times, and i have my favorite spot there - can be very windy !
but you mean surfing, i'd like to try it too, it 's sort of new in Europe, i think i know where one can go for this in France, following several private recommndations.

I know you can surf in Biarritz and Hossegor, and I know one big wave spot in or called Belhara; but I haven't towed-in in years so surfing big waves isn't for me right now until I get back into shape for that.

So, the medium and small are fine ?
How about wind-surfing it is more popular in Europe ? also not too windy for non-profys.

I'm not a proper surfer but have done a bit of boogie boarding in the past and really enjoyed it. If I can find a way of getting my board over here from the UK, i would definitely be up for a trip to the Atlantic to brush up on my skills! It would be nice to surf in sea water that's a bit warmer than in Wales :-)
I hear Portugal is good too, and Ryanair fly from Hahn to Porto.

Anyway am driving to Wales next weekend where is your board exactly? And how big is it? If you can arrange tp get it to somewhere where I can pick it up then maybe I could bring it??
