Private German language lessons in Karlsruhe

Any good suggestions for German private lessons? cheap and good?

Berlitz has private lessons. I don't know how good your german is, but I would take a basic course with other people first(VHS). This forces you to speak more often and learn from eachother. Then you can ask your teacher if they would do private lessons with you (almost all do). Then you can negotiate your price. Just a thought.

There are students crying out for English conversation. You can do a tandem - they give you German lessons.

I tell everyone I can to avoid language schools, they are a ripoff.
