Toytown Germany has a sophisticated event listings system. All events such as drinks nights, dinner parties, concerts, nightclubs, parties, exhibitions, sports events, etc. should be posted to the chat forum. All registered members of the forum may post events. Events should be posted to the correct sub-forum. For example, events in Berlin go in the Berlin events and meetups, events in Frankfurt in the Frankfurt forum, and so on.
How to specify the date
The post title or description should include the event date in the exact format dd.Mmm.yyyy. For example 11.Sep.2001 or 1.Jan.2007. This is very important. If the date is specified in any other format then the event will not be included in the listings.
Further information
After posting to the forum, your event will not appear immediately in the calendar: this is not an error. It just takes a short while for the database to find it. The calendar should be updated within half an hour.
