Any page within the TT wiki may be edited by anyone at any time. Yes, that means you! Right now! You can edit any page. You could even edit this very page that you are reading right now.
Editing is easy. Simply click the link labelled "Edit this Page" that you see at the top right-hand corner. Then edit the text in the text box, then scroll down and click "Save".
That's it! Your changes are saved and your new version of the page is immediately visible to everyone.
Don't worry about making mistakes. You can't mess anything up. The complete history of edits is saved. This means any changes can be reversed at any time.
Creating a new page
Creating a new page is also dead easy, once you know how. Simply type the following URL into your web browser's address bar (but don't hit "return" yet):
http://www.toytowngermany.com/wiki/
...then suffix that address with the title of the page you want to create.
For example, if you wish to create a page with the title "Shoe shops in Berlin" you should type the following into the address bar:
"http ://www.toytowngermany.com/wiki/Shoe shops in Berlin"
Then click return. You should now be viewing a page that says "currently no content". To add content, click the "edit this page" link at the top right. Enter your text. Then click "save". And that's it. Easy.
Note: Take care in choosing your title. Remember to keep it as short and descriptive as possible. Also be sure to use correct letter capitalisation. For example, a page about shoe shops should have the title "Shoe shops", and not "shoe shops" or "Shoe Shops".
